V1connection the app
V1connection, the app, is a travel and navigation tool developed by Valentine Research Inc. It is designed to connect the Valentine One Generation 2 detector directly to your iOS device. Additionally, it can also link the older Valentine One w/ESP detector through the optional Bluetooth module called V1connection LE.
One of the standout features of V1connection is the Threat Picture, which provides a breakthrough in analyzing radar threats. It displays a radar locator with illuminated arrows pointing towards each threat, while the Bogey Counter tracks multiple threats. The app also introduces the innovative Arrow-in-the-Box concept, which allows users to screen out false alarms. Each signal on every band is represented by its own directional arrow and frequency readout, with a flashing arrow indicating the Priority Alert.
V1connection offers several new programming options, including Dark Mode, Muting, and the ability to relocate the front-panel warning of the Valentine One detector to an eyes-only location. The app also introduces eSAVVY, a feature that allows users to set a speed below which all new warnings will be muted.
Furthermore, V1connection provides downloadable performance upgrades exclusively for the Valentine One Generation 2 detector. These upgrades are not compatible with older models of the Valentine One detector.
